Terms of Use

Dosea — Effective date: March 22, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dosea mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Operator

The Service is operated by an independent developer based in the Czech Republic ("Operator", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

The Service is not intended for children, and it is not designed for use by minors without parental awareness.

By using the Service, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into and accept these Terms.

3. Account and Access

  • An account is required to use the Service.
  • Authentication may be provided through third-party identity providers such as Apple Sign-In or other supported authentication systems.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if necessary.

4. Nature of the Service (Important Disclaimer)

Informational and organizational use only.

  • Dosea is designed to help users organize supplement routines, create daily schedules, and track supplement intake.
  • The Service does not provide medical advice, healthcare guidance, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
  • Any information presented in the Service, including supplement details, scheduling suggestions, or evidence-based summaries, is provided for informational purposes only.
  • The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
  • Outputs generated by the Service (including scheduling suggestions, supplement groupings, reminders, and informational summaries) may be incomplete, simplified, or inaccurate.
  • You are solely responsible for decisions regarding supplements, health, and nutrition.
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement regimen.

5. User Inputs and Content

You may provide information to the Service, including:

  • supplement products
  • barcode scans
  • label images
  • routine information (wake time, sleep time, meals)
  • preferences or schedule adjustments

You represent and warrant that you have the right to provide any information or content you submit and that it does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

6. AI-Assisted Features

  • The Service may use automated technologies, including artificial intelligence systems, to help extract information from supplement labels, structure supplement data, and generate summaries or contextual explanations.
  • These outputs are informational and may be simplified or incomplete.
  • AI systems are used to assist in organizing information and do not provide medical or professional advice.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase.
  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or other platform providers.
  • Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the terms and policies of the relevant platform provider.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant app store before the end of the billing period.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its operation
  • reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit the Service
  • use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • circumvent technical safeguards or platform rules

9. Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or attempt to compromise its security or functionality.
  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
  • Termination may result in loss of access to your account data associated with the Service.

10. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its software, design, interface, branding, databases, and underlying logic (excluding user-provided inputs), is owned by the Operator or its licensors.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the Service.

We do not guarantee that the Service will operate without interruption, errors, or security vulnerabilities.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • indirect damages
  • incidental damages
  • consequential damages
  • loss of data
  • loss of profits or opportunity

If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
  • If a dispute arises, we encourage resolving it informally first.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights provided under applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • Material changes may be communicated through the application or by other reasonable means.
  • Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
